Parallel motion - The parallel motion was a mechanical linkage invented by James Watt in 1784 for his double-acting steam engine.
Linkage (mechanical) - Mechanical linkages are a series of rigid links connected with joints to form a closed chain, or a series of closed chains. Each link has two or more joints, and the joints have various degrees of freedom to allow motion between the links.
Envelope (mechanical engineering) - In mechanical engineering, an envelope is a solid representing all positions which may be occupied by an object during its normal range of motion. Another (jargon) word for this is a flop.
Belt (mechanical) - Belts are used to mechanically link two or more rotating items. They may be used as a source of motion, to transmit power between two points, or to track relative movement.
Mechanics and Special Relativity - Introduction to Lagrangian mechanics, Noether's theorem, special relativity, collisions and scattering, rotational motion, angular momentum, torque, the moment of inertia tensor, oscillators damped and driven, gravitation, planetary motion, and introduction to cosmology
Power-Motion Sales, Inc. - Motion controls distributor and manufacturers rep for non-contact sensors, electrical, mechanical motion control products including servos, motors, safety products, stepper systems, photoelectric.
Motion System Corp. - Manufacturer of linear actuators, mechanical jacks, and high efficiency epicyclic ball screws from 40 to 1000 lbs.
